The materials

Surrounded by stone and earth, Apsila Pool Suites in Sifnos were designed to create a harmonious symbiosis between the inside and the outside. The natural environment constituted our inspiration in order to use raw materials for the structural and decorative elements. Having in mind a sustainable philosophy of materials reuse, we collected stones from the construction site as well as from local dams in order to use them inside the suites.

With a lot of passion, patience and attention to detail, they went through a special process in order to get their final shape as stone sinks, about 300 kilos each (!), and they were placed in all property’s bathrooms. They have now taken their emblematic position, enhancing the absolute harmony of the interior with the external environment. The presence of the natural environment was enhanced by using small stones as lighting and decorative elements.
